Tiffany's First Field Trip

Tiffany's very first outing with her classmates in school on Monday, 27 April 2009. Based on the theme of the term which is Transportation, the school brought the nursery kids out for a MRT ride and Bumbo ride. Daddy has exercised the option to accompany her for her very first outing. =)

Fever over

Finally, Tiffy's fever went down, and could see her bubbling again.. =) have missed her chatty nonsense and ransacking, the house seemed a little quiet with her ill. She was tired and sian sian all day and dont want to eat much. Have to coax and begged her to eat a bit so as to take medications. Gave her milk also vomit...very trying days...

This morning, her fever was finally gone and the old Tiffy emerged again, she was a sunshine, talk and talk while i prepared to go to work! We were so happy to see her recovered...hmmm but her appetite has not returned yet..still eat so little..but we were relieved that her fever was gone..but i tink Melody is starting to take over her symptoms...

Tiffy down with fever

My Tiffy went down with fever on Tuesday night, she had fell asleep at 7pm which was pretty early for her and she has no appetite for dinner....she was sleeping with me at night and somehow before sun rise, i could feel her temperature rising...and it read 38.7degree!

Oh gosh, so decided to take child mc and we took her to her PD yesterday morning... poor her, she vomits out all her milk when she coughed and had a bad running nose..the flu bug had got her liao wor.

Must be very tiring for her..cos she slept through the afternoon, managed to coax her to have a bit of dinner and then medicine...and she fell asleep again at 8pm..wonder if my little princess is ok already....??

haiya, forgot to tell the maid to boil some barley with melon strips for her!!!

Melody's due for injection

Hmm..usually i wouldnt ask the PD wad injection she gave Melody cos i trust that the PD knows what she is giving and when she ask me to come back i will jus go back lor.., but somehow yesterday out of curiosity i asked...and its for pneumococcal vaccine..

haha..mei mei was very steady de lor...she wanted to get down the bed when the PD went near her! And while i carried her, she struggled with a bull's strength when PD tried to inject her keke...Her PD said ' Wow she is very strong and fierce! She knew she was coming for injection?'..and when it was done, she was still sobbing away..poor mei mei..must be very traumatic..told Tiffany dont tell her mei mei that she was gg for injection le lor, and she still told mei mei...

Tiffany has been pestering me to bring her to 'poke' ear ring holes for her..and finally today we brought her to a shop at wisma and had her wish fulfilled. She was very brave o...nvr cry and when asked her not to move she really din move...while she was having her ear done, her mei mei was fusing to be part of it too..and so..Melody too had her ears pierced! But Melody screamed after the ear ring went thru! When the initial 'shock' was over, she was proudly pointing to her ear smiling away when we said pretty and all. :)

Remembered taking Tiffany for her first holiday trip and we had to go ICA to take a passport photo...so here it is...

and recently we brought Melody to ICA to make her first passport and took her first passport photo...for her first holiday trip overseas to Genting, Malaysia...

can see the difference in them already...heehee...cos when they were babies they look almost photocopied...especially so when newborn... :)

New haircut

heh Tiffy had a new hair style "short and sweet" by renowed hairdresser PO PO!!

Number 3 on the way... ...

On mid December 2008, discover that i missed my period for a couple of days and when the 1st pregnancy test kit showed +ve...and I could really feel my face turning white with shock. Then becos I did not expect to get preggie again and have no plans to. I remembered walking back to the pharmacy and bought the 2nd test kit. This time, i did the test again in the morning a few days later, and it still showed +ve. Finally convinced that the kit couldnt be bluffing me, i had to break the news to daddy. He was surprised as well.

The next few days/weeks flew by and i was still trying to reconcile the fact that i am pregnant with number 3! It was not an easy decision but we decided to keep her...as we knew that every baby is a blessings. Hmm...not an easy decision becos it was not easy to juggle 2 young kids now, whats more with another baby arriving soon. But nevertheless, i am getting very used to the idea of having a new addition and anticipating for her arrival. Erh...at this point, i still dont know the gender but yet i had a feeling that it is a girl...that makes 3 princesses in the family.. =)

I only went for my first checkup on 5 Jan 2009...nearly 2 months preggie....

5 Jan 2009 - Scan showed baby's gg to be due on 19 Aug 2009 and can hear her heartbeat too
30 Jan 2009 - Scan showed that baby is already 4.37cm long
24 Feb 2009 - Scan showed that babi is 8.86cm

Tiffany's question... ...

Tiffany: Mummy, have to pay money to St Anne School (her current nursery school)?
Mummy: Yes...
Tiffany: why?
Mummy: (trying very hard to explain) Hmm, have to pay school fees for materials, for teacher's pay, for music lessons, etc all hav to incur money....
Tiffany: (cut me short) Then Supri (our maid) have to pay me money too!
Mummy: (puzzled) Why?
Tiffany: Because here is a school (referring to our home), I is teacher and all are children (referring to maid), so have to pay me money lar

Melody's on the Move - Cruising

Melody had been learning to walk since she passed her first birthday =) She wants to walk everytime whenever mummy wants to rest and laze! There is this saying "when she dont know how to walk, she wants to walk. And when she finally knows how to walk, she dont want to walk and wants to be carried"...wondering whether this will turn true for mei mei...?

Rubbing Shoulders with the Famous

婆婆bought tickets for Teck Ghee CC's CNY Dinner for the whole family which included us, mei mei and jie jie, 公公 and 1 uncle auntie with this auntie's cousin from china. So, when PM started going for round table toasting, my family relatives got so excited and started snapping away... 婆婆 too was very excited and proudly carried her granddaughter (mei mei) to meet PM who had the honor of shaking his hands. =)

Melody's Big Day - 1st Birthday

We organised a mini birthday celebration for Melody with many well wishes from those who had took time off to attend her birthday party though today was still 初六 of CNY and everyone was still busy with their CNY vistings and all...

Melody wished to thank all uncles and aunties who had attended, the gifts and ang baos received. Oh ya, and also a very Happy Birthday to 奶奶 whom chinese birthday falls on today too!

1st day of school

Its the first day of school at St Anne's. Tiffy took it very well, and seemed to grow up liao just like a 小大人. Today is the only day where parents are allowed to 'attend' the 1/2-day class with the children and Tiffy seemed comfortable with the environment so far.
