Mei mei is blossoming every day

Mei mei is blossoming every day...She loves to clap esp when she is happy; point ya she sure knows; laughing at silly and funny expressions esp when entertained by her sister; crying or pretending to cry for your attention =) She would open and close her hands to the tune of "twinkle twinkle little star..."; and claps her hands to 'if you are happy and you know it clap your hands, clap clap" and occassionally will shake her heads when she dont want or when she is just being naughty.

While posting this entry..mei mei is tugging my shorts...

Mummy's at home - Tiffany's Graduation and Melody's Checkup

Day 5 (Cloudy and Drizzling)

It was a very very very special day for Tiffany.
Tiffany graduated from Apple Tree playgroup! We proudly clapped our hands and busy snapped away as Tiffy received her certificate from the RC Chairman. Mummy took so many pictures of all the children as well till daddy asked whether am i going to burn a CD for all the other parents keke...
We saw her grown up from a crying baby to an independant girl. Mummy remembered when she just started her playgroup, she was steady as she was one of the few who did not cry in class. And during my maternity leave, I saw her to school and she seemed ok..but after her June holidays, we all wondered why she suddenly cry everyday when we left her at the door and had insisted to be the last one to go in the room...She gradually got used to it again and had been very independent since...Her teacher Salmah also helped us to toilet trained her when one day her teacher decided that Tiffany should start attending class without diapers (prob sometimes in Sep..) cos nai nai reported that Tiffany would not go to school without her diapers..heehee..So probably in Oct, Tiffany is completely toilet trained...day and night...mummy is so proud of Tiffany! *muack* hahaha but it also meant more 'work' for us...

Today, we had a good morning and as usual for the past few days, Tiffany and friends went to the playground hand in hand...We took lunch outside (thanks to nai nai's 4D luck and treat)...

After lunch, Melody had to go for her vacination...'pn..cocal' vaccine.. and her vital stats were:-

Weight - 7.4kgs
Height - 67.5cm
H.C - 44cm
Remarks - Small Sized

And the whole family had ice cream somewhere at east coast road...Tiffany was napping in car and when she saw the 2 cups of ice cream, her eyes lit up like a christmas tree and almost finished a single scoop of chocolate ice cream! How i wish she could eat rice just like the way she finished off ice cream and sweets... aiyo...

Today marked the end of mummy being a temp SAHM...feeling a bit sad as couldnt see the girls every moment i wished to when i go back to work...Had managed to take quite a bit of photos for the past few days with mummy's new camera..had felt a lot satisfaction knowing that my babies loved me a lot for the fact that mummy's arms are aching from all the carrying..that they always turned to me (or fight) for attention...even daddy couldnt handle the 2 angels =) there were instances that when melody cried for carry, she really meant business and had to be carried by mummy only and when Tiffany refused to eat dinner, only mummy can settle her...what a wonderful feeling...

Day 4 (Raining)

Heh...today we had a photo shoot appointment in the afternoon...again..yes but mummy meant for Melody to take the shoot mah..herez a sample of one...
Then we went to Pasir Ris Park cos Tiffany said she wanted to build a sand castle wor...but when we reach the beach she refused to come down and walk herself and kept complaining that sand got to her feet! So there goes our beach plan..We ended up at Ikea where she enjoyed quite a bit haha

Day 3 (Sunny)

Morning rush...

After Tiffany's class, 4 friends ran hand in hand again to the playground (auto) as it occurred for the past few days! Mummy enjoyed the sight of the children enjoying their self so much, enjoyed listening to their innocent talks, hearing their laughter, especially my darling girl's. The children just ran round and round and slided and slided..monkey barred with help and laugh and screamed so loud till our maid said she can hear their laughter at home erh on the 14th floor..

Had wanted to bring the girls to Compass Point for a walk but...the afternoon was so sunny that our legs (or rather mummy's legs heehee) were so lethargic...that we turned on the air con and napped through the afternoon...so xin fu... heehee

Mummy had a bowling competition at CSC and had to leave home by 5.45pm. We all managed to get the girls dressed and ready to leave in 30mins...tat was an achievement in itself keke...Btw, 3 cheers to mummy who managed to hit 136 points on 3rd game after 2 years of non-practise =)

mummy's at home - Itz baking time!

Day 2 (Cloudy)

The self promise of a fulfuling and enriching week began...had wanted to bring the girls for a swim at the new Sengkang pool but the weather's not too good and seemed too cool le...anyway the usual ritual went on for the day, managed to get the 2 angels to nap at 3pm..and nap it was, Tiffany napped till almost 7pm despite her refusal to nap.. haha...As she woke up late, dinner for them started late and ended late at almost 9pm. So the promise of baking started at 10pm, when daddy came back (at ard 1045pm), we were still at it, putting on the finishing touches to the last tray of cookies... =) well..the cookies turned out nice and crispy this time round...
decorating cookies with rainbow rice
tah tah itz freshly baked from the oven =)

mummy's at home

Day 1 (drizzling all day long)

nai nai had gone for a holiday trip to Genting and mummy had taken leave to look after the 2 terrors erh ok angels. Being a temp SAHM, I would try to make my girls' days as fulfilling and enriching as possible...heehee..

Morning was a mad rush as usual, as it was a Monday morning, we had a long day on Sunday..so the girls woke up around 10am. Then the mad rush to make sure Tiffany get some breakfast and her bottle of milk before changing to her uniform and to school at 1045am.

After sending Tiffany to her playgroup, time for Melody's bath time and bonding segment...she finished her milk and managed to doze off... *phew* peace time for me...

By 1230pm, terror came home... watched TV while eating their lunch and the 2 girls dunno why became so super active for the rest of the afternoon.... so decided to bring all to AMK Hub for grocery shopping and then to po po's house for dinner..yeah! yeah is meant for me cos tat meant i had another pair of carrying hands :D ...mei mei loves me to carry her so she would find every opportunity to make me carry her (maid is just an alternative heehee) so when we reach po po's house, she would willingly let po po carry her for long time unless she wants to sleep then she would fuss.
Here we were at AMK Hub, jie jie was riding and mei mei also want! So end up sharing the ride...

Fever...measles..

Little Melody finally recovered from week's long bout of illness. Melody started with flu and then fever on last thursday. Tot medicine from the last doctor's visit would help, but it only helped to lower and when medication worn off, fever set in again...Fever hit 38.8degrees on Friday night and we went to see doctor early on Sat morning (PD nt in town so had to visit a GP). Her milk and food intake had drop drastically since. But thankfully, the fever got under control and went away after 2 doses of prescribed medicine....however, to mummy's horror, red dots appeared all over body on Sunday! So Melody went back to the GP to let him have a look (mummy tot she was having rashes again!), doctor said it is 'fake' german measles, which is a common occurance especially when fever came down.....haha mummy was not too convinced and called PD's nurse who confirmed the diagnosis. *phew* Illness recovered, but 瘦了一大圈.....
